What a great weekend we had at the Bianco Academy carrying out our three-day laser training course.
All pupils completed their training fully qualified in Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, Level 4 Laser Hair Removal and Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal!
Our January laser training course commenced on Friday 18th, which was Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology Training day. This, for our pupils, is the first step toward becoming IPL laser consultants and is required to move onto to specialist treatments such as laser hair and tattoo removal. The aim of anatomy and physiology training is to help pupils to begin to understand not only the hair structure and how wavelengths impede growth, but also the different layers of the skin. Our trainers cover many different subjects including the lymphatic system and blood circulation.
Day two involved full Level 4 Laser Hair Removal Training and day three was allocated for Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal Training. Both training days were split into two; the morning was used to go through all theory knowledge required to safely carry out treatments and the afternoon designed for practical training.
Theory and practical training were both carried out at our training academy in Milton Keynes. Pupils used our meeting room to go through the theory presentation with our trainers and then moved over to treatment rooms for practical training. All were given the opportunity to use our Lumenis equipment to practice treatments of their choice on a model and then ask any questions on areas they may be unsure on. We also provided all pupils with a booklet including diagrams and information to help them to document any important points from their training to keep for the future.
