Already an accomplished aesthetics practitioner, Emma had her own clinic, an impressive grasp of Anatomy and Physiology, and a wealth of hands-on experience under her belt – but she wanted to expand her skillset even more. That’s why, in September 2022, she reached out to Bianco Beauty to enrol in our Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal Training course.
Despite her considerable qualifications in the industry, Emma hadn’t had the chance to work with lasers before. This meant she was required to go through Level 4 Core of Knowledge training first – a vital step for any student looking to work with lasers. She discussed her training options with our team and was happy to discover that she could undergo personalised one-to-one training, the way she preferred.
At Bianco Academy, we know that each student is unique. We design our courses around a proven framework, but we also tailor them fully to each student’s learning style – and that’s exactly what we did to make Emma’s journey with us a success!
In January 2023, Emma attended the Academy in Milton Keynes for two days of classroom training and two days of practical work, all on a one-to-one basis. We arranged accommodation for the duration to allow Emma to focus on her learning without the distraction and added time travelling to and from the Academy each day.
The first classroom day covered the Level 4 Core of Knowledge, while the second covered the Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal theory. This gave her the strong foundation she needed to move onto practical work.
After completing her classroom training, Emma attended our clinic for two intense days of hands-on experience. She began by shadowing her trainer and mentor as they interacted with clients, providing valuable insights she could use in her own treatments. She then familiarised herself with the equipment on paper, and even underwent a carbon peel herself to understand the treatment from a client’s perspective.
On the final day, Emma put her newfound knowledge into action – she practised performing carbon peel treatments and removing both cosmetic eyebrow tattoos and conventional tattoos.
Emma was very confident dealing with clients, and it was clear she had a lot of experience in this area already. She was really committed to taking on board everything she could so that she can give her own clients the best possible experience moving forward.
At Bianco Beauty, we’re dedicated to making our students’ learning experiences the best they can be. That’s why we were more than happy to provide Emma with the personalised one-on-one training she was looking for.
After finishing her courses, Emma invested further in her clinic by opting for our business package. This included the Nd:YAG Active machine. Bartek, our director and Emma’s mentor, personally delivered the machine to her clinic. Emma received comprehensive manufacturer machine training and promptly began administering treatments for her clients.
