Please note that to carry out the Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal training, you must be at a Level 3 standard or equivalent in Anatomy and Physiology and have completed the Level 4 Core of Knowledge training course first. This will ensure that you have an existing understanding of skin structure and laser technology.

What Does Laser Tattoo Removal Training Involve?
Laser tattoo removal isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. Many variables impact the effectiveness of treatments, including laser types and strengths, tattoo types, and different skin tones. Critical safety and risk factors also need to be considered when using lasers. For this reason, laser theory is an extremely important part of your training.
Training will commence with an in-depth explanation of how and why an intense light is used to break down colour pigments within the skin safely. You will gain a full understanding of the theory behind the popular procedure, taking into consideration all skin types you may be faced with and essential observations to take into account.
Classroom-based learning will be led by our industry-leading experts, who will arm you with the information you need to carry out laser treatments, from consultations and patch tests to managing your clinic.
Following theory learning, you’ll have the opportunity to practice your new skills in a controlled and coached environment with Bianco Beauty.
Setting Up A Laser Tattoo Removal Clinic
Training will also include how to prepare your clinic for the introduction of laser tattoo removal, including all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required for both the practitioner and clients. Your trainer will also take you through the treatment room requirements and equipment maintenance you must adhere to. Lastly, you will be talked through the policies you must comply with surrounding handling client data and the structures you must implement before introducing a new treatment.
Client Consultation
Introducing a new treatment to an established clinic means that all practitioners must be prepared to answer any questions a future or potential client may ask. You must be able to take every factor discussed in the initial consultation into consideration to create a tailored treatment plan. Some elements may mean that the client is unable to have the laser removal treatment due to safety precautions.
All documentation needed to carry out an effective consultation will be provided during your training. This includes questions you must ask and the application forms your clients will be required to fill in.
A client’s journey does not come to an end once their set of sessions are complete. Laser consultants must also give sufficient aftercare instructions and advice on how to deal with all potential side effects, even those of extreme unlikelihood.
Course Outcome
On completion, you will be awarded your certification in Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal, meaning you will have full knowledge of the journey a client must take before, during and after their laser procedure.
As part of your training course, we will provide a range of clients for you to treat under one-to-one mentorship on your final day of practical. Each client will have a different situation or requirement, allowing you to create documented evidence that you’ve completed the necessary case studies. Only when these case studies are completed will you achieve full CPD certification.
